Becky Dempsey

MS. DEMPSEY IS AN EMPLOYEE BENEFITS CONSULTANT WITH IBC. SHE JOINED THE FIRM IN AUGUST 2019.

Since joining IBC, Ms. Dempsey has completed RFP development, analysis, and selection of vendors, for various benefit programs, including Pharmacy Benefit Manager services, ancillary products (life and disability), and Employee Assistance Programs, while assisting the Director of the Employee Benefits practice. She assists in the development of presentations, proposals, data analysis and reporting for large self-funded clients, including a self-funded medical risk pool covering over 8,900 employee lives. Prior to joining IBC, Ms. Dempsey implemented, advised, and trained clients on their benefit and ACA modules, specifically, benefit plan analysis and configuration within the HRIS/HCM system to ensure accuracy of payroll deductions, carrier feed integration and reporting.  She partnered with clients and brokers to establish and manage open enrollment timelines and to configure employee self-service online. Her background includes 12+ years of client implementation and support experience as well as technical and team leadership, spanning across benefits/HR/payroll/time.

Ms. Dempsey graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Management Science and Information Systems.  She holds a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation and a PHR certification.
